When I bought my home over a year ago, the lawn I inherited was... let's say it had character. The norm was wild overgrowth in some parts. In other areas it appears one of the previous owners attempted an ambitious xeriscaping project, partially succeeded, and then gave up. And in little patches here and there, there's actually grass. In sum, I'm trying to rehabilitate the lawn as a whole, but I need help. Enter Scotts Lawns.

It's been said before by other reviewers and I agree: This book really is the best all-in-one guide to a gorgeous, healthier lawn. I recommend it whether you intend to read it cover to cover or to consult it as needed like a field guide.
