This covers everything in the Canadian context, and the info is current, unlike many of the other library books on this subject. The author does mix in his own opinions, but the facts are well presented. A must-read for anyone who cares about animals. I think it should be a mandatory high-school and university textbook. It is also succinct, a relatively quick read.
