One of the better series because author describes the sideshows, proxy wars, office to interservice politics & day-to-day life in the army.

One of the best series of books ever written about the Military.

I don't normally like books about war, specially WW II, but this book was simply magnificent. Well written, hard to follow at times trying to keep all the acronyms in order, but overall, a great story and a great book
