Good – Mutant Chronicles (2008) 111 min. Fine science fiction action flick with Thomas Jane (Punisher, The Mist) and Ron Perlman (Hellboy) reminiscent of the The Dirty Dozen (1967). In this case, Thomas Jane leads a reluctant group into the pits of the Machine to destroy the one thing that’s held humanity in slavery to the mutants. The film starts off with a bang both in scope and special effects. It then labours through the explanation of what we’re watching and what happened to Earth by the year 2707. The last act follows the brave one into the Machine fighting mutants along the way. Good action scenes and sci fi images to excite anyone into that genre.
