I’m not sure if I like it. I think the book is too long, with needless details about life (almost hour by hour) of Rosie and her family. Sometimes too much detail about drugs - almost like a manual how to use them and how do not get caught... The question is - is this tragedy of all teenagers or only of those, who have, practically, everything in their life, and therefore, some kind of suffering from boredom, and they get into these destructive activities? Too much blind love of parents - is not good. The book gives the impression that somehow Anne Lamott is defending "poor" teens, who don’t know what to do with their “boring” lives and start using drugs and then - everything to which this leads.
