Killing Reagan

the Violent Assault That Changed a Presidency
Nov 23, 2016EmilyEm rated this title 3 out of 5 stars
Book takes a look at Ronald Reagan’s background, his rise to the Oval Office, his strategic initiatives—both successes and failures—and the influence Nancy Reagan asserted on his schedule and the people surrounding him. It also tells about John Hinckley Jr’s life before and after he shot those sic shots that changed people’s lives. I read this book because my brother reads these 'Killing' titles and the new MN Senate Majority Leader said on TPT’s Almanac that Reagan’s way of leading might mirror a Trump presidency. I'd forgotten much about the Reagan years. Scary to be reminded. Written for general audiences in easy entertaining style.
