A rude awakening for any Tarantino true believer (I must've seen RESERVOIR DOGS half-a-dozen times at the theater when it was first released). This is a crypto-Trumpian and anti-#MeToo manifesto, a counterfactual history that tries to put a happy face on the cultural revolution of the 1960s by re-imagining the period solely through the lens of commercial television. Nonetheless it's a must-see. Tarantino is making a strong statement here; it's just embarrassing how infantile it is.
